These Hunter stoves glass clips & screws hold your stove glass in place. Maintaining an airtight seal around your stove will improve its efficiency.
Replace the clips when they are broken or worn. They are simple and quick to replace and can be done easily and quickly when you are replacing your stove glass or rope. When fitting be careful not to over tighten. This can cause the glass to crack if it does not have room to expand when heated. We would recommend tightening to hand tight plus half a turn only.
Hunter Stoves are based in the South West of England and were formed in 1977. Widely thought to be the first UK based wood stove manufacturer; initially producing steel stoves with built in boilers to run small and medium sized central heating systems.
