Baffle plates, sometimes known as throat plates, are plates usually made of metal that sit inside the stove over the firebox.

Dunsley Highlander 3 Grate Bar Set

The total set has five bars - These grate bars are 255mm long and are for the non-boiler model. A riddling grate is a mechanism that allows the bars of the grate to be moved backwards and forwards when operated using the handle on the outside of the stove. This allows the ashes to be tipped directly into the ash pan.

This grate bar is 255mm long, 75mm depth and is for the non-boiler model. A riddling grate is a mechanism that allows the bars of the grate to be moved backwards and forwards when operated using the handle on the outside of the stove. This allows the ashes to be tipped directly into the ash pan.
